E53 MPG

Cover 20-25K miles per year with weekly 2x 200 mile (85% motorway) commute.

“Love” the E Class saloon for this function and on my 4th. Currently in an E350 diesel and easy replacement decision is an E400D in PP (2020 onwards).

However the E53 saloon is appealing to me - appreciate will always think “why did I not buy the E63”……! Nonetheless, let us stick with the middleweight option of an E53.

Does anyone know the real-life MPG of this car at steady 80 please.
