E55 1999 back box into Sl500 1996

Hello, I have a late 96 SL500 and I wish to remove rear box and resonator and replace with stainless twin pipes from cats back to e55 rear box twin pipes (losing resonator).

Has anyone experience of such a change?

You need a custom exhaust fabricator who will chop it all up and make a new system to suit using your back box...

Plenty around depending on where you are?

I had a look underneath before I bought the amg back box and thought naively that looks about right/ ish / that'll fit...doh

On mine the down pipes are separate into the cats and out the cats look in v v good shape, almost new; and so "most" concerned about the back box fitting.

Can not wait to get it done now...
