I have an issue with my suspension but struggling to narrow down the issue, overnight my rear suspension will drop (both NSR and OSR) right down to its bump stops. When the car is started it raises slightly but I get visit workshop in the cluster and the car is not returning to its normal level, the picture is taken after car is started.

The car has been on star and no errors at all, the car was picked up and the pump and pressure was tested and all passed.

I had noticed some additional pump noise over the last few weeks but not excessive, I also have a Renntech V3 DLM/ELM but this is currently set to stock height for the above picture.

When I had it fitted I vaguely remember Olly at PCS telling me that the unit can be disabled anyone know how I cant see any option from within the Renntech software app?

I might be wrong but your problem could be not the Lowering module itself. In ABC (hydraulic suspension) leaking valve blocks cause the car to drop when stationary. It is not even a problem that much as when you start the car pump pushes the fluid and raises the car to its normal height. Can you live with aesthetics of a slammed car in the morning? Otherwise valve blocks are a grand each. All this is right for ABC but I suspect Airmatic would be similar in its operation.

Could be a loose pipe! Valve block is behind the wheel arch, I'm sure disabling the renntech to stock is basically turning it off into like a bypass mode.

Thanks for the replys guys, valve blocks and lines have been checked.

Alps - I dont think that's correct by setting to stock ride height surely the Renntech unit is still controlling this? You did give me a clue though as just searched Renntech V3 bypass instead of disable and found a reference to it on mbworld. They call it a "pass through" device or "jumper device" looks like I need to find the box and hope its still in there.

Strange one that.

You cant switch it off, only set to stock hight from what I can see. I have that block if you cant find yours.

Had a similar problem withh my CL took it to my local indie and he performed a "Rodeo" cured my problem. It seems that even a miniscule partical of crud allows the valve to bleed down. Only cost me £40 so a cheap fox in the end

HTH

Thanks Paul, just found mine in the box in the garage will drop it down to them tomorrow so hopefully they can work out what's going on.

Paul, FYI, ive not had mine drop but when on factory height mode it does sometime come up with the up arrow malfunction, tried it again today and after about 40 mins driving the up arrow came up. When the unit is set to on no errors full stop. I have the V2 tho.
hope that helps dude

PS, I think i found those covers that Ricky had under his engine bay, once confirmed i`ll post the part numbers!

No idea what caused this but when we put the jumper device in the car returned to normal height and has had no issues since. I have removed the jumper and still no issue so not sure what to do apart from wait and see if it returns.
