e55 amg 2001 breaking for parts

Hi,about gearbox,is tiptronic gearbox and it wont fit c43 ,maybe if you put all set like gearbox,ecu,gearselector,torque conventer,but im not sure.
About breaking e55 amg
Ive nearly finished it,only few parts left on the bodyshell,i will do some pictures how somebody fited suspansion on two 8mm screws,realy dodgy work.
Car wasnt perfect,was pulling to the left and have some vibration over 120mph,but after ive stripped down i found out why .

I`ve just brought a complete running E55 with tax and test for £995
and i can`t see any rust .
Going to run it till summer then stick the engine in my wife`s C43
 
just in case i find out will the gearbox will work with the gearbox ecu and torque converter
in the c43

how much pls ill find out and if i have a price it would help

I could be wrong but I think you can use the box, the non touch shift is changed electrically between 1 and D it's just the shifter is different and the wiring to the shifter.
As for the TCU when I checked the part#s for my '99 and '01 they were the same. However my '01 had been fitted with a later one at some stage.
After checking the number for the later one it was the same as loads of other cars including a C180, they just have to have the right programme installed.
The 13 pin connector is the same, the later boxes like the touch shift had better bearings/bushes installed.
Don't know about the TC.
 
Hi,ive sold front bumper.

Hi,did you noticed isnt same engine?
2001 engine sold ,now is 1999 for sale,but now service history and high milage,thats whyis so cheap.

Hi, I might be interested in the AMG springs, if you have any....but is there a difference in springs for a saloon and an estate (mine is a S210)
