Too, er, distinctive for my taste, but those are genuine seats, so somebody has spent a lot of money, and quite some time to fit, to get that yellow interior. Of course, they may have just done a straight swap with the original owner of it.

I agree there too much for me too !!

Looking at them they look like factory stuff , as do all the dash infill bits and bobs
There are seats in the boot that flip round ,i would say they are as new condition,

I’m no leather specialist ,but I would say they haven’t been dyed, all the door cards and infills look “factory” too
I am going to go threw paperwork tommorow , the chap I bought it from says the original bill of sale is there

Based on the photos I have a strong suspicion that it’s a factory interior, which has either been swapped between cars, or the car was supplied new with that interior.

Perhaps all cars with Designon interior were fitted “off” the production line and so the data card uses a default colour for manufacturer and that’s what stays with the car.

Looking at the photos,it looks like a very expensive re trim,it has the yellow leather on the dash where I would expect to see the black Ash wood trim as per avant-garde interiors of the time.
I had a 99 E55 estate years ago and the dash,center console and various door button facias were in black Ash.
