Spotted this on eBay last night: EBAY LINK

I can't see it would make economical sense to bring back but maybe someone would think differently? It does make me feel better about my recent E55 purchase if this is worth the reserve price.

Shame to see to it!

Hard to imagine why one would, both for condition and faff (time and money) of bringing it back to the mainland.

And the usual whiff of shill bidding.

Well it didn't break in two when they lifted it with that Telehandler so there must be hope for the poor thing.

I guess wind down the windows and feed a couple of lifting strops through ..... not sure what that would do to the window frames though.

+1 for the value of the parts on it , the engine runs. , interior is ok (ish) Not sure about the £4K because of where its located. Not one to put back on the road in my opinion.

The exhaust looks 'ruff , but if it's true AMG it is all stainless , I know it doesn't look like that but my AMG stainless exhaust has surface 'corrosion/discolouration' but it's only cosmetic . Worth a few bob as many have been modified .

The Nokia 6310 has got be worth the admission alone ! 😆

Has to be the rustiest 211 I’ve ever seen! :)

Possibly worth the asking price to break for parts.
With a running engine and assuming working transmission not hard to get a return on the outlay.
Agree with the above comment that its the rustiest W211 I have ever seen. Not worth saving.
It does beg the question of why would anyone leave a car like that to rust away for 7 years?
