E55 amg rad fan

Hi peeps i have an issue ive been trying to resolve without a solution.. i have s211 e55 amg now everytime i switch on my vehicle even just the ignition my cooling fan comes on full speed. I have checked and pulled the relay and even replaced it still the same issue. Used my diagnostic i tool (icarsoft mb ii) to pinpoint the issue got the following: component n10/1ko (fan relay module) is defective or not installed. I have already checked the relay or is there another one that is on the fan itself? Any help with this will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

There was a little "mod" a while back where STAR was used to keep the engine fan on. I'm afraid I cannot remember which option this was, so might be worth checking it out.
