Breaking W210 E55 AMG (pre-facelift). 1998 'S'. 216K miles with FSH. Full Mercedes dealer service history from new and performance specialists thereafter.
Car has been hit in the front-right corner when pulling out of a side road and is a cat B write-off. Immaculate pre-accident condition. I have owned this car for two years, it has been used daily and it has never let me down. Maintained regardless of cost, if something needed doing it was done.
I have just bought another W210 E55 so I have looked at a lot and this engine is quieter than others I viewed with half the mileage. Emissions as you would expect on a new engine and it can be heard running. Gearbox faultless, fluid was changed a few months ago. Lots and lots of history available on the car.
If this car ever needed parts or work, it got done without question. I have receipts for thousands of pounds.
Some of the things I have replaced since I owned the car:
Steering rack
Upper and lower wishbones
Rear subframe bushes
A/C condensor rad
Crank sensor
Belts
All filters, air, fuel, pollen, charcoal, oil
16 spark plugs
Oil cooler gaskets
Heater blower motor regulator
Front wings
That's just some of the things I can remember off the top of my head, there must be many more things I have forgotten.
For the 5439cc hand built AMG V8 engine (354bhp standard and 540NM torque) and all ancillaries (no gearbox) I invite offers of around £900. Can be heard running.
Full black leather interior with fully electric heated front memory seats and dark wood trim (the one you want, by far the nicest-looking option). No rips or tears, comes complete with all 4 matching door cards - £350

Wheels are genuine OE fitment.
18 x 8” ET31 front, 18 x 9” ET35 rear. There are three fronts (spare is a full-size alloy) and two rears so 5 wheels in total. One wheel needs refurb as it has minor cosmetic damage due to the accident (wishbone and steering arm broke so wheel scraped on the wing). I had all four wheels on the car refurbished by a bodyshop last year. Few marks here and there as tyres have been changed since then but pretty much immaculate condition. No tyres as they are brand new and I want to keep them for my new car. I've done an indicated 160mph on these wheels so I know they're good. Price for 5 wheels (3 of 8Jx18" (front) and 2 of 9Jx18" (rear)) is £500.
Factory Xenon headlamps, auto self-levelling (I am told this option was several thousand pounds when new)
Facelift rear light clusters modified to fit pre-facelift bootlid - SOLD
Two sets of original taillights £80 a set (includes both inner and outer light units)

AMG twin-pipe stainless steel exhaust, cat-back rear section (basically the whole section roughly from underneath the front seats to the tailpipes). Includes two silencers, the resonator/collector box and rear silencer with AMG plate attached and AMG logos on tailpipes. £150
Lots of these parts will fit any W210, if you need parts for your own E55 AMG, want to make a nice E55 replica with genuine parts or want an upgrade for your C43, you won't get a better chance than this.
