Theres not a day gone by that I have not regretted selling this car, even considered re buying it when it unexpectedly came up for sale again, but the wife has put her foot down, ugh! her r231 sl63, nice car, but not a patch on the enjoyment i Had in my old E55, I do hope it has been well looked after. If you PM me, I have some more paper work, over what I had already handed over to previous owner, of the work I had done on this car, that the previous owner had not received, happy to send it to you, to keep the history intact. All the very best with the car.First post on the forums, last summer I flew over to England and bought my first AMG, I’m sure quite a few will know the car as the E55 that @ricky s on the forums built! She’s now in N.I, great car and a credit to the 2 previous owners!
Hi Ricky, it has indeed, she’s still in brilliant condition, bit of a garage queen now intactTheres not a day gone by that I have not regretted selling this car, even considered re buying it when it unexpectedly came up for sale again, but the wife has put her foot down, ugh! her r231 sl63, nice car, but not a patch on the enjoyment i Had in my old E55, I do hope it has been well looked after. Great to hear the 55 is still in excellent condition.Hi Ricky, it has indeed, she’s still in brilliant condition, bit of a garage queen now intactThat would be great about the paperwork, can never have enough. I don’t think I have enough points on here yet to pm you though
Sounds good Ricky, much appreciated, I’ll have to get the post count up!Great to hear the 55 is still in excellent condition.
Seems we cannot contact each other for the moment, the hierarchy here is telling me 30 posts, before you or I can communicate through this forum, thats fair enough, rules are rules.
Once you get the availability, please send me a message, I have this paperwork for you, will also let you have a few parts for free, that I was going to sell on ebay, but they are quite specific to the upgrades of this car of yours, and whilst goodwill is here, I also have a few parts that I will sell to you, at a good price, again specific to this cars upgrades, on the assumption and assuming they are of interest to you. Once I can get to discuss the car with you, I may have info on the car that you may or may not find useful.
Regards
Ricky
Ricky, please excuse my post in advance in case you misconstrue it, I am curious though...Theres not a day gone by that I have not regretted selling this car, even considered re buying it when it unexpectedly came up for sale again, but the wife has put her foot down, ugh! her r231 sl63, nice car, but not a patch on the enjoyment i Had in my old E55, I do hope it has been well looked after. Putting her foot down means decisively saying no, or said another way, Ricky’s wife has said that she wouldn’t t let him have the E 55 back again, and that’s finalRicky, please excuse my post in advance in case you misconstrue it, I am curious though...
I come from a very different culture background so I may be oblivious to this situation you're in.
Why would your wife put her foot down while she owns an SL63?
