E55 lowering links

Hi all. I’m installing lowering links to my 2004 E55 tomorrow. I remember being told to lengthen the front links 7mm and shorten the rear link 8mm to achieve a decent drop. Does this sound about right???

7mm is the absolute maximum at the front Dav, and that may be too low. I'd start at 5mm front and rear. Adjust them according to the length of the links you remove.
You are correct too in thinking lengthen the fronts and shorten the rears.
