He was working on these for at least a year and there is a Youtube video showing how to fit them correctly. I think they look pretty good.
Worth a punt if you don't want OEM E63 paddles which I believe Comandonline can fit with some wiring changed inside the steering wheel.

If your handy with a Dremel, get OEM and modify the exisitng buttons to fit the Aluminium shifters off the E63 like I did.

They are only £100 from MB

I have the G-Paddles which are a 5 minute job to fit and despite being plastic are surprisingly robust.

Easier to use than the switches and handy to kick down without WOT.

“Slow” compared to a double clutch 20 speed gearbox in track mode.

But to mere mortals, plenty quick enough when you keep in mind the gearbox tech is at least 16 year old.

5 speed in a 200+mph car it's not slow they are just long gears

Imagine how good it was back in the day. As others have said its more strong and longer lasting than what's on offer after it was produced and even better with what's on offer in today's world of gear boxes.

I find it plenty quick enough. And as said reliable and tough can withstand plenty of stick if must.

I would also like paddles lol maybe my next mod!!
