E55 replace door mirror bulb indicator unit

Can anyone tell me a link I can see how to replace bulb flasher unit from drivers door mirror 2005 E55

I can't find a link immediately, but having changed mine recently, if you google how to remove mirror cover, you'll get some hits.

Once you've got the mirrors folded in and found the clip holding the cover on as per Video clips you will find on google, it's not too hard.

But it does seem complicated
Seems very easy to damage the mirror by poking behind the mirror to release the spring.

I changed the cover on mine once and had to remove it to fix a broken part of the framework.

I seem to remember easing away from the car so I could see the metal catch to then be able to release it.

Take your time.
