I have another wanted add up on here for an estate but I am quickly coming to realise that finding a low mileage fmbsh example is going to take some time.

Truth is that I don't want to wait and so have decided to include saloons in my search.

I am still looking for low mileage, preferably as late as possible and with full mbsh.

There is one online ATM which I may go and view (04 with 66k) albeit it's a right trek from where I live which makes it harder to find the time as it's a full day out.

Thought I'd ask whether anyone on here has one they may consider selling

Thanks

Alps is selling his on here, You will be hard pushed to find another like it.

678 out which no more than 70 are Estates

A look at www.howmanyleft.co.uk will tell you that there are 678 out there, of which no more than 10% are estates. Here's the link:

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=✓&q=e55+&commit=Search

Given that the "average Brit," whoever she is, does 8k a year, it's a fair guess to say that at least half of those will be over your target mileage.

The cars are there, it's just that it may take you a while to find one, and the Estate will take far longer. I point this out because I've owned a succession of fast BMW and Mercedes estates, and they've always taken an age to find, and, with the exception of my last Mercedes estate, have all sold in seconds.

Thanks for the reply, it is appreciated.

You right of course in that they are few and far between, there is a saloon in Swansea with 66k on that I may have to go and view although it's a full day trip for me so not always easy to fit in.

We are just on the way back from Stratford on Avon after looking at an estate in Banbury which im close to buying although not quite certain ATM.

If you don't mind me asking how do you rate the e55 against BMW's? I'm presuming you've owned M5's?

M5 vs E55

The M5 is a Brie, whereas the E55 is a Camembert.

Both are darn fine choices. They just drive a bit differently, give off different messages and have different owners.

"Some say"..... there are good and bad BMW histories.

"All I know....." is, at the core, sooner or later, with BMW owners, out pops the cloven hoof.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks and even though I don't know you I'm glad to hear it's not something serious pal - you'll just have to get the mrs to do some massaging!!

Lol "mad as cheese springs to mind" but thanks for the colourful reply!

Now seriously - Parmesan reggiano or grana padano?

It all depends whether you're a "full fat" Padano type of guy.

It's a heritage kind of thing, so some shout "driver's car" as they massage the small of their back and wander off to the chiropractor.

Others mutter comfort, space and racing heritage, as they stroke the Labrador and reminisce about LKJ Setright.

I hear you :thumb:

Definitely full fat padano although to date I can't say I have tried the three variations availed side by side to compare - Either way I love the stuff just with a chunk of bread and perhaps a glass of something suitable
