Aha! So they do come out..

I used a stanley blade held in some mole grips and it took a couple of minutes to cut through the rubber pipes.

You could try some red rubber grease on the spigot to ease insertion.

That's how they looked like this morning dressed in 2x zinc primer and 2x hammerite.
Already fitted, tested for leaks, raised up and left overnight to see how it's going to look in the morning.
When I've put everything together I wanted to put some pressure in the system. Left car running for a couple of minutes, still on the stands, lowered it and then it went right down.
"Alloys past the arches" down. With some loud rubber squeaking. Almost s...t myself :O
Start the engine, Sport 1 and then started to go up :)
I've checked the codes on iCarsoft and it came out with: "Rear axle reached critical level" or something like that. Erased it and going to check again tomorrow.
Let's hope my repair it's going to work :)
