Hi does a replacement oem TB have to be the exact part number as my original ?
My TB No. is A 275 141 00 86
The part numbers on the replacement TB are

1131410486 / A1131410486 / A 113 141 04 86 0486

Can anyone cross reference them for me please before I commit to buy
Many thanks
Lee

Hi SL03WLY
ive just stumbled across a post where you asked for help regarding the TB harness….
Did you sort it out…..
On my 2005 E55 it plugged into the TB and into the loom just the back of the engine….
Dont know if the setup changed from your MY to mine ?
thanks
Lee

Hi Lee,

Yes, so I went to MSL and they found the harness had collapsed/squashed so did some wiring repair work. I orignally had the old style throttle body where you can change the harness but as its wired into the main engine harness it would still need to be cut out etc. So, they fitted a used one from a 2005 M113K engine where its glued in with a resin and all is well with the throttle body now. Prior to the fix it had a mind of its own.

Thanks

Oh yes the fkin resin….. I had to carefully remove that to get the broken/chewed plug and bit of harness out..
Glad you got sorted out mate
👍

So you managed to get the resin and harness out?

Also, I brought the replacement harness part number at the time was A1131500028 for £74 from MB

Double check it's not just a casting number you are looking at on the casing.

These come up for E55 M113K but always best checking current Parts Information with VIN as it shows all the superceded parts.

Hi Patrick
thanks for the info, I got the number off the Protective cover that sits over the TPS on the side of the throttle body, thinking about it I bet there is a part number underneath….?
i will investigate further

Hi which Msl did you go for to get this fixed? Msl Birmingham performance or the other service one ? And who did you speak with there ?
