I will soon have available a stainless steel De-cat pipe for the 211 E55K.

I am in the process of making one and it will include the X pipe. The quality will be second to none as always.

    Pics will follow next week.

What we do is to take the complete exhaust off the car and fabricate it. Many exhaust companies make the stainless steel pipes on the car and we find this method does not produce the best finish and fitment.

I wil post up the fitted system when all done this week sometime.

You make that sound like the opening of a Monty Python sketch.

It is because of the complicated way the E55 exhaust is made. It is also done so there is minimal bends for good gas flow. The picture does not do it justice at all.

Are you able to do a YouTube audio of it once finished and fitted?

You should maybe start before the " H " section then merge in place of the H making it the " X " pipe. Maybe use clamps so one could revert back, this would be good option as you could sell it on..

    Just my opinion.:)

Mate mine is exactly like that the 2nd pic but I'm running the resonator I can't remove it as I have no cats, headers and eisenmann lol.

I want to get something done but I been quoted well over 1k for it, this would make my exhaust nearly 5k! Lol

I had my resonator deleted: http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/engine/116466-fitting-x-pipe-v8-kompressor.html

it didn't cost anywhere near £1k.
