E55k Estate 10k

Isn't that a forum members car.

I like that....if I could tow with it and get my head round the MPG....

I'm watching it just to 'see'

Mrs A210 probably wouldn't know the difference if I swapped ours for it.

:)

Yep - forum member's car, look at the username :)

Its worth £10,000.01 as there is currently no reserve and that would make you the highest bidder assuming no one else bids.

It has a very good spec and sensible miles.

I would guess around £15K ? would that be close.

thanks for the tip on how ebay works!!!!:wallbash:

on serious note that sounds like a lot of motor for the money, if you can get it for 15k

^ sorry I wasn't meant to be funny :)

I'm only guessing at the price, it seems they (E55's) vary all over the place in price.

Most are saloons though, myself I prefer the estates and also quite rare..

I will watch with interest, as you say what a car if it does go for around that :)

I think Chattonmill would be ecstatic if you would pay £15k for it.

Retail: £16,289

Private Good: £13,199
Private Average: £11,519
Private Poor: £9,699
Part Exchange: £12,639
Trade: £11,801

So £65k to £12k in 7 years...70ppm depreciation.

Show me another estate one that year. That spec & millage though for those prices you list.

My price was a guess & as it happends seems a fair one?

Those guides are just that.... A guide. it's the real world and market that dictates the price. Has your guide price been adjusted for millage and spec?

Either way between what it's currently selling for and 15k it's an awful lot of car and I doubt any other way for carrying 7 people in so much luxury quite so rapid :)

Most large engined cars aren't making guide price at present. Asking price is just that..not what is achieved at sale time.

That was for 76k miles.

Same year, a bit more mileage...reduced to £10,495.00 by trader to try to shift it.

25K more millage,

much lower spec no command for one (almost a must at this level car)

LPG could actually put people off that car...

Next :)

Too be honest it really doesn't matter the seller is obviously happy with £10,000 as that was in affect his reserve. One bid and its sold.

An awful lot of car for the money in anyones book.

Your right, big engined car, low mpg, high value running costs not the best things to sell currently but someone is always after one. Its just finding that someone.

I'd love it, but freelance work certainty only till March puts my sensible hat on. Beautiful car - will treat myself to one at some point [keeps promising himself]

Automotive porn!

All the car I'd ever need. All the car I'd ever want.

It's not £630 a month over 7 years though is it.

It's £1500 to £2000 a month in year one

£1000 to £1500 a month in year two etc etc.

£750 to £1000 a month in year three.

Assuming the OP didn't buy it new (shows as two previous owners on the advert) then it's not standing him the same level of depretiation.

People that buy these cars generally seem to go to work on a train in the city and the car gets used for school runs and weekends and a bit of shopping.

Approx 10K miles a year bears this out.

It seems to me like an awful lot of car for the money - but it's certainly a hobby car. You could not possibly justify this car in any way shape or form - you just want it and are prepared to pay for it.

We all get it you don't like large AMG petrol engined cars - it's getting a bit boring now.

Thats a lot of car for the money.

Bargain I would say.
