It's a poor advert for the car. No mention at all about the spec or service history although I'm guessing the photo of the service book assumes FSH, tax & MOT about to expire. Definately one to check thoroughly before bidding. If he is very lucky it may make £6 - £6.5k. Unless it was very close by, I wouldn't give it a second look with others newer cars around for his asking price.

I think this car has been for sale for quite a while. I remember over a year ago thinking who would travel all the way to Cornwall to view a car with that hideous aftermarket grill ( My Opinion ). Don't remember the CLS wheels though. Full service history to 2010? This is typical of a lot of cars for sale. I viewed three before buying number four. All claimed FSH, but that was 20000 miles and two years before!

That is a very early doors example as well. I'd be surprised if he gets anywhere near that price.

The Pistonheads one i'm also considering, but I do like the look of the silver one though, and they're both a fair trek....decisions...head or heart??

The last thing you want with these cars is big bills.

I'd get a cared for one with good history that is running well - that is really your best chance as there are no guarantees...

Mine has virtually no options but the way I look at it - I don't miss them as I've never had them, car is lighter and there is less to go wrong.
