E63 MPG if your interested

So ive just got back from the annual pilgrimage and as always ive recorded every drop of fuel used.

The car was loaded, and i do mean loaded. Large roof box plus two bikes up top and i would estimate it was carrying the weight equivalent to 6+ adults
Once we were at our destination the roof box was taken off (and the bikes of course) but only the roof box came home with us. The property is at the top of a mountain so really poor mpg returning after every day out.

Over the 3802 miles the E63 returned 22.76 mpg (the fuel computer registered 22.9 mpg)

Last year the C63 averaged 19.67 mpg (the fuel computer registered 20.1 mpg)
No bikes on the roof going out.

And just over 3mpg better than the C63 or an extra 460 miles for my money :bannana:

If you drive Mb's easy it's surprising how many mpgs you can get, Well done Sir

My E55 returns better Mpg at times than my C32...no diffrence at all in driving style ...boot & Go..................

Ive heard the same...some e55 better on fuel than c32s
