Still not quite right...£1650 first year, £600 (£190 + £410 luxury car tax) for first five years...THEN £190 per year.....but subject inflation based annual increase.

Ahhhh, luxury car tax can and does run for six years,

You only have to pay this rate for 5 years ( from the first time the vehicle is taxed) as per gov website….

I know, I am still paying it on my 2019 E class, first registered in May 2019..

restrained cruising managed just over 30mph

Don’t by shy, I reckon that bad boy could do restrained cruising at an easy 70 MPH in the UK, and even more on the continent.

It is, finally I can say that. Now that I have had chance to “make it mine”,
No, not more AMG badges, tinted windows and “Carlos Fandango” wheels, but a good polish and wax, tidied a few bits and driven a few thousand miles more…. it is a nice machine.

They're all great cars. If i could collect one , it would be a low mileage estate 212 e63 6.2l performance pack with LSD and distronic.

Keeping it under 2000rpm is the key to 30mpg, will try to improve on that this summer on the family trip to Slovenia
