I have been getting around 24 on long trips and 19 around town, slightly better than the E55.

I think be oldest examples will be approaching that kind of money soon. Although for obvious reasons I hope they (saloon or wagon) don’t come down too quicklyYeah, very true & the wagons are slowly coming down in price - they need to be nearer the £30k mark & I’m sure next year they’ll be within budget
High mpg is possible when required, I’ve seen mine do 33mpg on a run from the U.K. to Le Mans.Collected my (new to me) E63 S estate 2 weeks ago ... not managed to drive it a great deal as yet but saw a 22mpg figure commuting to work on Friday. Then went to meet some friends in York saturday and ended up sat in traffic for ages ... my 20+ mpg turned into 13mpg by the time I'd parked up. But hey, I knew it would be a thirsty beast.
Hopefully I'll squeeze 20mpg-ish ave going forward.

I might add, that that figure was only achievable because of long uninterrupted sections of French toll route - 80mph/130km/h continuous. Don’t think it dropped into 4-cylinder mode either m, but could be wrong.33mpg is seriously impressive!!
What’s the 911 going from, and to?Ok, so I’ve misunderstood, wouldn’t be the first time..
£1650 would be the first VED for 12 months then it stays at £190 per year..??
That’s good news considering I’m after a 2017 W213 E63.
It’s only my 911 that’s going up
Assuming I'm understanding it correctly (hopefully I'm not) it's rising from £415.00 to £735.00 per year - this is based on it's g/km being in the highest bracket of over 255g/km - that's two cars I'll own in the highest bracketWhat’s the 911 going from, and to?
I think all VED goes up a few % occasionally to reflect inflation etc but I haven’t seen any significant changes?
Nope - have a look at the link you postedAssuming I'm understanding it correctly (hopefully I'm not) it's rising from £415.00 to £735.00 per year - this is based on it's g/km being in the highest bracket of over 255g/km - that's two cars I'll own in the highest bracket

This explains it quite well
