E63 reduced for quick sale

Blimey, it's dropping like a QVC price crash event OP .

Yes I no someone will drive away in an absolute bargain needs nothing doing until service in Feb next year.

Still no realistic interest despite my efforts :dk:

Are you really desperate to sell. No chance of using it for a few weeks to commute?

It's getting to the point that someone's going to call in every favour they can, beg, borrow, sell their own car and live off beans and water for a few months to snap this up.

At least that was my idea until I quickly dismissed it thinking of my kids asking "please sir, can I have some more?" :D

Nope Golf R located & deposit paid as it was even rarer than the E63 to find the spec I wanted.

Need to clear the drive hence the price but still no interest I just don't get it :dk:

Indeed my BMW went in 2 hrs when I was on that forum:D Not so lucky here! Somebody is really going to miss out

You're gonna LOVE the Golf R !!!

You will really miss the torque (and sound) compared to the merc. Especially in a straight line.

You can get a plug in tuning box and a pedal box (changes how sensitive the throttle is and apparently vastly improves how the car feels) and do 0-60 in around 4 seconds!!

The golf is certainly good fun on a twisty road and covers ground quickly.

I have another Golf R on order for the wife as her other one was stolen from our driveway following a break in.

I am amazed that you would swap an E63 for a Golf R ...

Try putting the price UP

Not being funny, but that is so cheap, first reaction for many might be "What's wrong with it"?

I also can't find it on Autotrader? If it's not on Autotrader, it's not for sale......

Interesting comments :dk:car is on ebay as per the links in the for sale section. Never had much luck with autotrader.

If there not selling on autotrader @ £29,995 why put it up????

Don't forget if the car doesn't make a noise when you drive it, plug the sound actuator back in, located in the engine bay. You can also drive the car with different engine noises if you get the right software

I hope the switch is worth the 5mpg you'll be saving between cars... I know which car I'd have ;) Talking of which...collection day tomorrow!!! :D

I have an MK6 Golf R running 370 hp with a stage 2+ kit. The car is a lot of fun I have to admit and standing start it does see of my c63, however I average between 19-23 mpg and 26mpg on a run.

I test drove the new golf r and even though its a bit more shiny and user friendly etc I would never go for it.. Boring car in its standard form.

If I was you Optimus prime I would contact Steve at Statllers in Sheffield and give him some money to show you what the Golf R is about!

You will not regret it!! I assure you!

You might save some money if you were going BM derv, but a Golf R? I really don't see the point.

From a E63 that's a bit optimistic.
Have you driven one with 380bhp, it would run rings round your C55 mate. I have a Golf MK5 with 380bhp, you wouldn't see which way it went trust me.
If I drive in=t normally 75/85 on the motorway, I see 38mpg all the time. The 6.2 N/A 63 will not do that and neither would your 55.
