I agree not, not disputing that just too common. I like them in white and tbh think they look good in red tbh and I don't generally like many cars in red. I bet a red car goes faster :D
Lapiz blue does look stunning though.

as long as you dont get an audi s3... golf Rs are a dime a dozen but great all rounders if a bit unexciting, an a35 is far more exclusive but I would look at monthly payments as casting vote. If the prices were similar I'd go A35 in that nice blue or yellow colour hehehe
Not much in them, arguably the Merc better.

Golf r for the win, awesome cars. A few of my mates have them. 1 is standard and the other stage 3 which is mental. Just don't go for blue every body seems to have them in blue
I love them in blue.... With these alloys but I would probably look to get a red car.

the merc deal also allows more mileage. I wonder if the monthly price would drop at 8k miles rather than 10 ? maybe not but there may be room for maneuver on the cost unless 6k mileage diff over the term doesnt move the needle at all

Just been quoted £389 fir the Merc. £63 a month for maintainance seems steep. Am I honestly going to be spending over £2k in maintainance and tyres??

Fwiw, I’m about to hand my Cupra back after a 3 year business lease.
Was about £320 inc VAT, 30k miles.
Car has cost me around £600 for the 3 services and a set of tyres. No RFL.
They’re considerably cheaper now and are a great alternative to a Golf R which are as common as muck round here.
It’s a real pocket rocket, not toooo bad on fuel, been faultlessly reliable and the service from SEAT has been spot on.
Ok, it’s not a VW in terms of interior quality but it’s not £10k worse and you get pretty much every bit of kit availability.
Mine is Auto with leather and the fancy stereo which were pretty much the only options available at the time. Now they have the excellence plus but not sure if full leather is an option now but I know it’s a very expensive one in an R.
I’d have another one but probably the ST with 4WD.

Still awaiting confirmation..... However, to aerokit or not to aerokit. That is the question.

Aero kit definitely even if it does look a bit chavy.
Looks a bit boring without. :)
yeah it does look special with the kit. a different colour could help too or the black alloys really work well

Well deal done. Mountain grey A35 Premium. Cracking deal.

Doesn't come with the styling pack whicj is good as I don't want the rear wing, but I think I will add the splitters and maybe upgrade the wheels.

Basically will look like this if I change the wheels.
