After some advice had the car now coming up to 2 months and for the first time today I noticed that while stationary in park if you bring the revs up to around 1500rpm I can feel a vibration in the cabin but if increase to 2000rpm it decreases.
I’m not sure if this was there when I first got the car or a new development as it’s only noticeable at the above engine speeds and only when stationary. Just wondering if this something I need to get looked at or is it a characteristic of the m156?

Tranny mounts possibly!!

Don't get no vibration on idle myself at what you describe.

Transmission mount is very cheap. £35 part and 10 mins labour.
Engine mounts dearer. Not sure on OEM price for mounts + 1-2hrs labour.

Just to update the forum. I’ve got a failed engine mount on the near side. You can test for it by putting the car in gear left foot on the brake blip the throttle and watch the engine. On mine the whole left side of the engine is moving by about an inch up and down.

Is there a recommend brand of mount I should go for replacement? Or an upgrade?

^ I'd get OEM and replace as a pair.
Get a quote from MB Newcastle or Grangemouth and mention the forum. You should get a good price.

Lemforder...

I bought mounts from MB and also Lemforder from Autodoc just to see...
Compared them side by side, they are IDENTICAL!
