Hi

As promised the East Yorkshire Breakfast Meetings will continue as planned for 2020 albeit as “Virtual” meetings. The venue will now be The Bikewheel Tearoom for the foreseeable future, usual start time of 9.30am. We will be adhering strictly to the Government advice on social gatherings and definitely NO driving to the venue is allowed.

This is not an AMG Private Lounge Meeting so everyone is welcome and there will be no free tat, no drive outs, be polite and courteous to fellow members and PLEASE try to not get a Red Card from the Moderators.

To keep things fresh we will ask you to post a picture of the breakfast you actually had on the 25 April and pictures of what you actually did , or would have liked to have done, instead of meeting up with a load of fellow MBCLUB.co.uk members on that day.

Looking forward to meeting old friends and virtually meeting some new ones.

Andy

Thanks to everyone who has put their name down so quickly, I must have a better plan for the next meeting as I went for a shower after my virtual bike ride and missed most of the fun ;)

Morning everyone

It‘s a week until our next East Yorkshire ”Virtual“ Breakfast Meeting at The Bikewheel Tearooms.

Normal start time of 9.30am, and don’t forget to post a picture of your breakfast :)

As we mostly turn up to meetings in our current Mercedes how about posting a picture of a car you have owned and wish you still had it in your garage today?. I’ll be rummaging through an old box of photos as there are a couple of cars I wish I still had today which are very different to each other.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone next week :)

I hope everyone is well and prepared for tomorrow. Just a little heads up I will have to leave at 11:30 for a funeral service.

No problem Dave, I think your 11.30 appointment takes priority :thumb:

Weather is looking good for tomorrow so hopefully we will be able to have breakfast outside.

If you can turn up in a car you’ve owned but wish you still had in your garage. I’m digging through old photos for the one I’m looking for , hopefully I’ll have found it by tomorrow.

Don’t forget photos of your breakfast :thumb:

Cheers

Andy

Morning Folks

Were up early and have already been out for our 1 hour ”Socially Distanced” morning walk.

I’m off to The Bike Wheel in my 89 TransAm , a car I bought in 1990 with less than 5,000 miles on it and loved it. Used mainly for Liesure and Pleasure at weekends etc.Had it for two years then changed jobs and got a company car and after doing 45,000 miles in the first year for work I didn’t enjoy driving at weekends so sold it. Definitely wish it was still in my garage today :) :thumb:

My car history is not as lengthy as some and Scarlett the slk is the best car I have ever owned. Bought after a long term relationship went down the pan and I had wedding funds in my account that told mr Izzy (insignia) must go! I had a very strict criteria that my next cat would be two seater, fun and totally impractical. After a short search I saw Scarlett in wales and mover her closer for a test drive and fell in love with her immediately. Two days later she was on the drive and I have no intentions of changing till I can afford Ashley ( db9 or vantage).D539B6FC-8433-465C-917C-E38E7A5F1220.jpeg
