I just discovered this site, and am gobsmacked at the simplicity.

I searched ebay for weeks, put a request on here, then within an hour of posting a Wanted on my local www.freecycle.org group message board, I have someone wanting to give me 90' of mature privet hedge (and they live 10 miles from me too.

I may be slow on the take-up, but if you surf ebay, give these folks a punt - well worth it.

Well done Tony.
I've been a member for about 2 Years but have only given stuff but I know people who have gained things like PC monitors and kitchen equipment.

It's amazing what people just throw away.
