I had nothing to do all afternoon so gave Ebay Motors a bashing how would you like a 2015 Disco decent mileage for £12,000,the motor traders web site has been taken over as have at least 4others of course you have to pay a deposit within two hours.

Just spotted another one 2013 Audi Q3 for £6786 yet another dealers web site targeted.

What are you on about? Is this another overuse of the term "hacking"

Do you mean a probable scam? Do you have links, information or anything?

Or they have set up 'dealer' accounts and copied the adverts

Why so aggressive recently? It's perfectly clear what he's "on about".

I think the OP means the genuine eBay account may have been 'hacked' and is under the control of someone running a scam - tempting buyers in with very low prices for desirable cars and hoping for some up front deposit/payment etc.

Has been happening for years now, not just on eBay either.

The owner of a Mb Independant garage lost £10k via one of these scam ads on eBay which was advertising a cls55 iwc.

It's my time of the month. It'll be over soon for a couple of weeks.
