Am watching this on Ebay. What a beautiful example of a W124 estate. Its that blue colour which really brings out the car.

A great looking car but, NOT top of the range. That title is awarded to the E320.

I've already got a 320 coupe, and so I don't need top of the range. I want a cheap smoker to carry stuff in.

I must say, I like this one better now it's got a description. When I saw it the other day, it said almost nothing....

I would go for it but as I am in Ireland it would be a bit impratical. Going to view a 200 TE this evening with 140Mls on it. Hopefully the auto box is fine and that there is no oil around the cyclinder head. I am right in saying that you know when the auto box is 'going' when its slipping but is there any real for sure way of knowing what state the gasket is it ? (non-mechanically minded here!)

No Cruise
No Heated seats
No 5 Speed box

not sure what a "Mercedes Car Computer" is - was that an option I've not heard of?

of all the switches to break it's the mirror control - I believe that's the expensive one to replace

Still, it looks nice and as long as the bidding doesn't get too silly it could be a decent buy for someone.

Autotrader prices would be anything from 2k - 3k but this is eBay and sometimes prices get a bit inflated.

I noticed the car was sold for £3,455. Thats 5000euro. For a '95 car with 159Miles. I think it was the colour and the leather seats (and the auction on ebay) that got its higher than normal price.
