Okay, dumb question time:

The seller has put: "STRICTLY NO PAYPAL FOR U.K. BUYERS". I thought Paypal was a good thing. Why would someone not want to use it?

It looks a bit "used" to me.For a couple of quid more you could get one from the stealers and take it away with you.

transaction charges are very high.

Their non-US fraud protection is erm ..... non-existent over £15.

So you're 100% liable all the time, and they just come and take the money from your acccount without telling you and then freeze your account.

But it's ok if you're in the US.
