The scam is.....a pyramid selling scheme, the ones at the top are the only ones to benefit.
If it looks too good to be true then it usually is a scam.
On the other hand, if you want a cheap contract phone from orange...let me know

Apparently its a pyramid selling scam..sorry scheme.
In one particular scheme i read about, you pay £20 to the seller and that gets you a CD fully of very useful wallpapers and games..yeah right..
Then your name goes on a waiting list, when you reach the top of the list you get the phone. This can allegedly take weeks or months.
I am selling a phone on e-bay at the mo and am constantly getting e-mail's about this.

some ebay users are not trying to sell the link, just using ebay as a way to advertise the fact that they are in the pyramid and get you to join their queue.
It could work in the short term (like all pyramid schemes) although £40 to join seems a bit steep
