Ebay Wheels. Yes / No?

Yep good quality replicas should be no more than £500. So he paid overs the odds on tyres as has been pointed out above.

You wish......all the £500 19" replica's I have seen have been pretty naff. From what I have seen you are looking at £800 at least.

Nice looking wheels but whats the quality like? Unfortunately ebay wheels are going to be a gamble, i would rather buy from a retailer with a warranty. I should have said, i only want new wheels no used.

Thanks AMGeed, pretty easy to find they are.

I purchased mine from lkperformance, they were very helpful and gave me a warranty on them as well.

I have run mine all over winter and another member has had them on his car for over two years.

The only bad thing about getting replicas is that the material isnt as strong so you might bend, warp, or crack over a bump or hole on the road! I would say if you love your ride spend the $$ or make sure they real. Check the vin numbers inside the rim.

Oppose to the AMG ones which seem to be made of butter! You only have to look on eBay to see the amount of OEM AMG wheels which are being sold with cracks or have had them repaired! So there's no guarantee that just because they are OEM they will be better!

Had a look at LK Performance. Some nice wheels on the site at very good prices. Shame they are not closer to me, i would have gone and had a look.

I did not visit them. They don't advertise replicas, probably for good reason. They took pictures of the different styles and emailed me.

Also gave me a great price on new tyres. I could not beat it anywhere online and boy did I try.

I would rather buy OEMs but on CLS one of the OEM 19" AMG alloys got buckled just after taking delivery from a pot hole. Rather than repair i just bought a brand new replacement. When buying replicas you are taking a big gamble.

There are a fair few it has to be said - still no guarantee these reps are any better as they're a fair few of them sold with cracks too.
