Why do we no do the same?

Say £100 in Exchange for lifting a one-week ban, or £1,000 for lifting a life ban, etc?

The proceedings can go towards bbq and beer for future GTGs.

He's not guilty though.

You tend to offer to pay people off when you are innocent don't you.

I rule that this is mildly offensive towards a fellow forum member. That'll be ten quid (hammer sound). We accept all major credit cards. :D

1.5% of his total worth?
60,000,000 / 4,000,000,000 = 0.015

Thats an equivilant of a £2,200 fine for the average person (147k uk average net worth).

he really is a repugnant, very rich, little weasel.
ftfy

Maths is little off as, according to Forbes, Bernie is worth US$4,200,000,000 and it was a US$100,000,000 settlement, so that makes it 2.38% of his worth, equivalent to a £3,500 cost for the average UK citizen.

Another way of looking at it is that he can only do it a further 31 times before he ceases to be a US$ billionaire
