Eco Display Surprise

Had a nice surprise on my eco display.
I happened to max out all 3 segments and when that happened the display changed to highlight the fact.

When that happens, if you press the OK button within 10 seconds you fire a green shell out of the front of your car.

The little arrow seems to be next to the N , and it says 88 just below the picture of the flux capacitor

The arrow next to the N means if you push the gear selector upwards then you'll engage (or not engage I suppose ) neutral. The car is in 7th gear in the picture.

The idea of the E300 is to reduce your company car tax bill. That's all. Anyone trying to get to super-user level on the economy display should be demoted to a Prius and sent to the Accounts Department to lick envelopes.

Thats closer to the truth than you might imagine.

I turn 50 on Friday. Slippers on order with Amazon.

I bought my CLS just before my fiftieth birthday, as I was intent on having something special before I got too old for it, although I am still way too young to drive an E Class.
