Although I have not visited them for a while , having moved to the West 5 years ago , I always found

Western Mercedes in Edinburgh parts and service depts to be friendly , helpful and efficient .

just hope your car doesnt break down when its 3 weeks old and your told that they won't ahve a courtesy car avalible for 2 weeks ...

Back in the days when I did run newish cars and used them for servicing , I never had any problems and did on occasion get courtesy cars (usually VW beetles in those days).

Parts staff were spot on and a mine of knowledge , able to quote part no's without recourse to microfische or computers , sadly all have moved on apart , I believe , from Ellen Forgrave who was still there last time I visited .

How many dealers , when you order a new starter ring gear , will tell you to bring in your flywheel then heat & shrink fit it FOC while you wait ?
