O I have to use the egr cleaner spray ? Or can I use cheap brake cleaner ?

From what i have read on here so far researching for my own clean, people have used, brake cleaner, oven cleaner, petrol diesel mix and EGR cleaner and steam. I am going to go for the oven or more than likely bbq spray cleaner (good for carbon) with hand held steam tool and tooth brush see how I get on. Wish me the same luck I am sending you.

Once you have got the worst of the gunk out use this:

Fairy Power Spray 375Ml - Groceries - Tesco Groceries

Quite remarkable what it will shift! (Including some types of paint and softening certain plastics, so be careful!)
