Plenty on here about EGR shunts which simulate the EGR to the ECU but actually shuts it off to stop all sorts of false error codes regarding boost, AIR, turbo and limp mode faults,,,,,,,Has anyone had an EGR delete?
If so, is there a kit you can buy to DIY.
Why do you delete it?Some would argue that case I'm sure! Each to their own. I have always deleted it.
I asked why you delete it - not some mythical someone. Why do you delete it?There are a few reasons ro why someone might remove the EGR.
- Improved Throttle Response.
- Improved Economy.
- Reduces Oil Contamination.
- Reduces Carbon Deposits in the engine
