Well here todays problem!! I keep getting the P0405 fault code up ( Gas Recirculation Sensor “A” Circuit Low). Still got to check wiring (its only happened since I fitted the new turbo so I possibly damaged a wire somewhere). It sometimes goes for weeks without the EML...then might be two days in a row. I usually use PartSouq for my numbers.....but the EGR just shows a row of zero as the number. I THINK that its A6421401060 but could someone confirm. VIN is WDD2120252A069730.
Hopefully I wont need a new one. I've cleaned it (was not that dirty TBH) and it seems to move freely. Normally I just get the EML....no limp mode or loss of performance.....but just one or twice she's felt a little bit flat on the hills....so maybe the EGR is staying open a bit sometimes. Any advice on other causes gratefully received. TIA.
