Morning all, as per the very useful post in this section I cleaned my EGR valve yesterday and was surprised at the amount of soot & clag in it. Trying it since I have not had the increase in performance that others have reported but then realised that I also no longer hear the turbo whine that I used to even under hard acceleration. So I wonder, as the EGR only deals with a relatively small proportion of the exhaust gas does the turbo suffer in a similar fashion with the vanes ending up being blocked ?? And if so how difficult is it remove and clean, does anyone have any experience of this please.http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/dk.gif
