after removing,cleaning and refitting my egr valve on my 2003 clk270cdi the management came on,i have purchased an isoft i980 and deleted the fault code,however it came back on 24 hours later,the fault code is P1403-032 which then states EGR VALVE POSITIVE CENTRAL VARIATION TOO LOW,can anyone shed any light please.

Does the car go into limp mode? Are the vacuum pipes on correctly?
no limp mode but i dont remember a vacuum pipe?

Sorry - I assumed it was vacuum controlled same as the W210. If I am correct, the code refers to the EGR valve not receiving enough pressure to open it, possibly a leak. There was a thread I read on this somewhere
