EL Power Control, Visit Workshop EPC

My wife was driving to collect kids today and car began to judder and shake....eventually stalling at the traffic lights. It would restart but immediately stall. Breakdown had to recover the vehicle home.

The warning light 'EL Power Control, Visit Workshop EPC' comes on.

My thoughts are :

1) leaky injector - the car has had a leaky injector for a few months with usualy leaky smell

2) glow plug - the light for this had come on intermitently in recent days

3) fuel filter clogged/contaminated

Any thoughts please on other potential symptoms before i give the car a thorough service and replace the injectors ?

What model Talbir?I can`t help myself but might be easier if more info`s given.Is it the S55

It's got to be a diesel, so go for clogged filter or an air leak into the fuel pipes.

Whoops, yes car is a 2001 year w210 E320 CdI Estate (by Lorinser!).

Fuel filter will be first up for change as per Dieselman advice and we'll go from tthere.
