I have a very nice W124 230CE.
Yesterday, taking advantage of the first hot weather that we have had for weeks, I went out and wound down all of the windows and the sliding roof, and enjoyed myself immensely, until I returned home and tried to shut the windows again.
The passenger door window refused to respond to the switch.
I pulled out the back seat and could hear the relay clicking when I held the switch in the down position, but nothing in the lift position.
After fiddling around for a few minutes, I locked the car and held the key onto the auxiliary position that rolls up all the windows. To my surprise, the passenger door window went up as well!!
On this basis, I assume that the wiring, regulator, motor etc. within the door is okay. Do I need to look further than a duff switch?
Any advice before I start pulling the car to pieces would be appreciated.
