Hi to all,
I had a problem with the actuator on my car over a year ago and managed to fix it, there was a broken wire that needed re-soldering. When I had opened mine up I could see a lot of carbon dust from the little electric motor also the plastic worm drive would begin to wear and knew it wouldn't last. I decided to start looking for the parts and found the company that manufactured them ( Johnson motors ) but they would not supply the parts as they said they were commissioned by manufacturers of various components like Garett to complete an order for them and so they (Johnson's) did not carry spare stock.
I have since found a couple of companies that sell the "gearbox" side of the actuator complete although this is an after market product.
I was wondering if anybody had used or had experience with one of these actuator gearbox's.
