If an eis module doesn't trigger the starter relay on the sam is it a conclusive symptom of eis failure?
Any electronics nerd out there?
Thanks for any help

Sorry for missing last question .., the car's CANbus is how the EIS talks to the rest of the car. It's probably the engine ECU operating the starter relay, that operates the starter motor. Relay is in the little fusebox under the bonnet that needs a TORX TX25 to open it. The relay coil is driven by 2 different things (to do with start stop) and I think 1 may be the SAM module and one the engine ECU
I havent looked at this area of the circuit diagrams for a while though ..
