In my dealings with the council I email queries via their website, usually filling in a proforma type mask.

Usually, no reply - nothing - so a phone call has to follow.

Safe in the knowledge that the private sector would be better, I filled in two email enquiry forms on Monday, again via proforma masks.

One to a major parts provider.

One to a main dealer.

Three day later - nothing.

What a waste of time :(.

Acid at MSL comes to the rescue with the part number and part, as usual. :thumb:.

The dealer query remains unanswered.

If your experience shows they don't work,
why do you persist?

:)

Cus I is a tick Brummie :D.

I've stopped using the worthless council one.

I'd never used the two MB related ones before.

Our local authority is no better. Had to contact them with change of bank details for a tenants housing benefit payment.
They didn't respond & paid the old bank account, which the bank immediately returned the payment.
Council response:- you only gave us 2 weeks notice. We will make the payment to the correct account when we receive the money bak from your old account (which I knew had been returned the same day as it was paid as I had a letter from the bank confirming it. It took the council 4 weeks to correct their error.

Don't even get me going about council LHA departments .
