emergency key holder w202

My emergency key holder - a thin bit of black plastic into which the manual key fits has broken. It is now superglued and rubber banded to glue overnight. I can't see anything online to replace it. Note this is not a full electronic key fob (which also has an emergency key it it). The broken plastic is a thin plastic sheath about 4mm thick and the same height/width as a full electronic key which is around 8mm thick. This came with my 1999 c230k. Any ideas on a replacement?

Take a picture of the broken part you mention. I believe the part you are referring to comes part of the key itself and is not available as a separate part unless you get a used second hand key.

Hi,
If this is what I think it is (Emergency electronic key without the remote locking function) then I tried to get one for my C43 years ago and it was not available.
I haven't even seen one (except on WIS), so a pic of the broken one would be good, and possibly prompt other comments.
