Hi guys and gals, for months now, eml has been on and when I've questioned this been told not to worry (for example - a roadside assistance fella once said, "my mate had his on for years with no problem") so I didn't worry, but now I need an MOT in November and it won't pass with eml lit :(

I've started to look into it, diagnostics say
P2463, DPF restriction, soot accumulation/dpf blocked.
P2112 electronic throttle control.
P0123 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit high input

I recently drove the van 200 miles there and back, mostly at motorway speeds with dpf cleaner, around 2000 rpm as recommended in the manual - so no passive regeneration happening.

To make matters worse, there's no a/c now, and sometimes the engine won't turn over til the 3rd or 4th try, are these a symptom of the dpf problem?

Also have a p2bac code, which I now know (I hope) will clear itself after NOx/dpf has been dealt with. My questions are is there an easy-ish fix, I don't mind getting my hands dirty, or is it a garage job, which is difficult at this time, the MB specific garages are all massively busy. Looking forward to hearing your opinions on this issue. TIA.
