This might be of use to those not yet wholly familiar with the internals of an engine but have grasped the basics. A humble Ford 4-pot, but the principles are the same for all OHV 4-strokes.

Found it on another forum. I wonder if it isn't the training video for Ford assembly line workers. Shown it twice they are then led to the production line and told to get on with it!
 
What I would prefer to see however, is a Commer TS3, or even better, a Deltic. :)

Just keeping up with Deltic animation would be hard enough!

Here's the nearest I can get. At least the working principle is the same...

I like the way the bolts actually tightened up and the rubber hoses seemed like they were being wiggled to fit over the pipes. Very cool, shame they didn't do a V8 or V12....
 
Fascinating, but I've always found Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow to be adequate.

It even reminds me about the four-stroke cycle!
