Hi Folks

Had this problem for a while now... thought it was maybe the air filter but after carrying out a service A and changing all the filters its still doing it from time to time ... foot down on the gas and there is a few seconds of nothing just flat and then it kicks in again its like engine isn’t get fuel.

I asked a friend and he suggested its a electronic problem something to do with the ECU as my fan belt snapped last year had to get that replaced aswell as the bearings and a new water pump but the red light on the dash is still on battery / alternator fault. Which I just left as the garage didn’t have the equipment to reset it... could this possibly be causing this problem?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Probably 3 years atleast I havn't had it changed since bought the car .. is that on the front driver side of under the bonnet? has a filter on the top if it?

Any advice on where this air mass sensor is located on the car?

Thanks

The sensor before the air filter.
