Hi all, first time post. I've just acquired a 2011 Vito 116 CDI blue effieciency but having a couple of issues already.
So I've driven a few times to Cornwall from Buckinghamshire and back on day trips recently. On all occasions on the return the leg the engine management light has come on and the power has reduced in the engine. The first time the low end of third gear struggled and the second time the top end of 5th & 6th gear struggled for power on the hilly A30.
However both times over night the light has gone off and full power restored.
The first time I actually filled up at Gordano services on the return leg and it went off for the last 2hr drive.
I'm hoping for a simple fix that I can do at the weekend but if not it'll have to go to MB garage.
I have plugged in an OBDII lead which has a couple of stored codes stating the fuel rail having low pressure but I'd of thought this would come up as soon as the fuel system built up pressure not after 200 miles,
Any thoughts?
