is there any mods i can do to help improve performance or economy on a 2001 e320. for example having it chipped. iv also heard about things you can add to the engine to improve things .any recommendations ?
Trade it for a E55 ?
As it's a smoker, you could send it to superchips, or similer......but remember to tell your insurance (or get a quote first)....don't belive the line "your insurance company cannot find out / undetectable by blah blah..

i would like a e55, but i bet there not good on fuel. besides iv only just got this one. anyway what do you mean by smoker, its a diesel you have to aspect some smoke. im happy with it in genral, i just think its got alot more to give. ile take a look at the link. i guess you have a e55, is it the same model has mine
No, I have the C class !! - and petrol..... There are other firms that offer remapping - have a search on the forum, as the pros and cons have been discussed many times. you will also find some personal recommendations, etc.
